May 6 Meeting Family Night with Demolay giving their Flower Talk. Mainly pertains to Mothers, and Mothers Day is 5/9. We’ll have spaghetti and anyone who wants to bring a dish is welcome. They can call PR to let him know what they are bringing. Everyone is welcome and bring children, grandchildren friends etc.
May 20, Fellowcraft Degree
May 22 Family Day in Macon at the Childrens Home. We will start cooking hot dogs and burgers around 11:00 and eat at about 11:30 or so. We plan to have some things to do like softball, horseshoes, volley ball, and other younger children participation games, etc. All the children and staff will be invited. Again, this is a Family Day event. Bring a dish to go with burgers and dogs, and bring children, grandchildren, friends etc. Everyone needs to come prepared the same as if they were going to spent the day at Stone Mountain or some other park. The Home grounds are expansive and beautiful, and it should be a good day. We plan to finish up by late afternoon, and head home.
June 5 Chicken Fry. Antiques, collectibles, good stuff new or old auction at 1:00PM. Music etc. We need donations for the auction. Not junk, but stuff that can be sold and proceeds will go to our charitable programs.
June 25 Mt Pk 1st Annual Charity Golf tournament. We need a lot of teams, and some help. This could be a major fund raiser. Talk it up.
August 5 Meeting Kennith Hughes presentation on the meaning of the Masters perambulation
August 7 Childrens Home work day. Starts at 8AM in Macon. Bring mowers, weed eaters, etc. We eat lunch there with the children.
August 28 Ham smoke (barbeque) More info to follow
