Thank you all for having the trust and confidence in me to elect me to the Seat in the East. It has been about 25 years since I started this journey, and I finally made it. I am very happy to be here, and promise to do my best, with your help, to make Mountain Park Lodge #729 the best lodge in Georgia.
You probably haven’t heard me say much over the last several years unless it pertained to the office I held, or to things concerning how I feel in relation to what Masonry is all about.
First is charity and good works toward those who need our help, especially children. Doing as much as possible with the GA CHIP program and expanding the Secret Santa Fund are two of the most important goals that I have for this year. Hunter, the young man we sponsor at the Children’s Home, also needs our attention whenever possible, and we have some trips planned to spend some family time with him.
We come to lodge for a good meal, brotherhood, and to relax and enjoy ourselves. We’re also here to work to build a lodge that will last for others to enjoy and that we can all be proud of, and one that we can pass on better than we found it. Remember, this is your lodge, and things will only happen with your help, participation, and support.
